AC-PEG-SC, also known as Acrylate-PEG-Succinimidyl Carbonate, is a linear heterobifunctional PEG reagent featuring an acrylate group at one end and an active succinimidyl carbonate (SC) ester at the other. The acrylate group enables polymerization or crosslinking under UV light or free radical conditions, while the SC ester reacts efficiently with primary amines to form stable amide bonds.
